Principal's Message

Greetings! My name is Cindy Jackson, and it is with great excitement and humility to serve as the Principal of Hibbett Middle School. I am eagerly anticipating a successful and rewarding year for students, parents, and teachers. I look forward to working with the dedicated staff, parents, and community to provide a phenomenal educational experience for Hibbett’s students.

I am beginning my 14th year in education with experience spanning from grades PreK-6 with special concentration in grades 4-6. My administrative experience has been shaped by one year of success as Director of Handy Head Start and four years as Assistant Principal at Hibbett Middle School.

Along with the competent staff, I will continue to work hard to maintain the legacy of success established at Hibbett Middle School by maintaining old and establishing new relationships with students, parents, and community partners. This year, we will focus on building relationships with students, parents, and the community. Our theme this year is Making the Connection. We want our school to exhibit the following characteristics:

     • Falcon Spirit

     • Servant’s Heart

     • Fun-Loving Attitude

     • Reliable Supports

I am excited and honored to be the leader of the Hibbett family. It is my hope during the course of the school year, students will be offered opportunities to grow and stretch their thinking. As we empower our students to explore, create, challenge, innovate and lead we are preparing them to become ready to compete in a global society.

As Principal, my door is always open, and I welcome your input. We want Hibbett Middle School to be the best middle school in Alabama!

If I can help you in anyway, please let me know.

Giving you Tomorrow…Today
Your System…Our Community…One Florence!

Sincerely,

Cindy Jackson
