My name is Emily Hurst, Assistant Principal at Weeden Elementary. I have been blessed to be part of the Weeden team since 2014, serving as a third grade teacher, and now as the AP. Each day at Weeden is filled with new experiences, and on most days, the students teach me something that makes my day a little brighter!

My primary objective in my role as AP is to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all students. I am blessed to work with a dedicated faculty that sets high expectations for all learners while providing excellent opportunities for all students to be actively engaged in the learning process. This helps ensure students are showing growth in their academics.
