• Hello Forest Hills Family! My name is Clarke Jackson. I am one of your assistant principals here at Forest Hills Elementary. I have been employed in the Florence City Schools system since 2012. I started as the ISS teacher and then transitioned to the Health Education teacher at Florence High School. I was also employed as an athletic trainer for the North Alabama Bone & Joint Clinic, covering Florence High School athletics for 15 years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences (UAH) and master’s degrees in Health Promotion & Human Performance (UNA) and Physical Education (UNA). I also have Instructional Leadership add-on Certification (UNA).

My role as assistant principal is to provide a safe and secure learning environment and support our students, faculty, and staff. I believe in providing our students with a foundation of love, trust, respect, and discipline while motivating them to become the best versions of themselves mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially. This foundation is key to student development.
