I was born and raised in Russellville, Alabama but have lived in Florence since 1990. I am married to Mike Holt, and we have one daughter, Karly Grace (FHS 2019 graduate). I enjoy spending time with my family.  My hobbies include running, reading, traveling, watching basketball, and attending Alabama football games. I completed all of my degrees in education at the University of North Alabama. My degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Education, Master of Arts in Education, Instructional Leader in Administration, and Education Specialist. I began my career in 1998 at Riverhill, then taught in the Sheffield City Schools system for several years before becoming a Florence Falcon in 2007. I have taught multiple grade levels throughout my career. I currently teach K-5 STEM classes. I love being a part of Florence City Schools.
