Hello, students and families! I am Tammy Dale, and I love teaching at Forest Hills Elementary!
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Child Psychology. I then went on to get my M.A. in Elementary Education. Shortly after marrying my husband, Trevor, in 2003, we moved to Arizona for four years. We then continued our voyage east and moved to Asheville, NC, where we happily lived for 11 years. In North Carolina, I taught 2nd grade and 4th grade. We have one beautiful daughter, and as she started getting older we decided we needed to be closer to family. So, we made the move to the Shoals area in 2018 to be near my retired parents. We love living here! Our family time is spent hiking, on the water, or traveling.
I feel so blessed to be a part of the Florence Falcon family. I look forward to building relationships with the faculty, students, and families of Forest Hills in the role of Reading Coach!
My Mission Statement:
