I am originally from Florence. I began my teaching career in Columbus, MS in 1998. I taught fifth grade ELA for two years before returning home to Florence in 2000.  I resumed teaching in 2006 when I came to Forest Hills.  I taught third grade for nine years and fourth grade for eight years.  I am currently the Math Coach for grades 3-5.

When not at school, you can most likely find me at home with my sweet dog, Griffin.  I am an avid Bama and UNA fan.  I have one daughter, Emily, who graduated from Florence High School in 2017.
