My name is Mollie Nichols and my home is in Florence City Schools! I graduated from Florence High school in 2008 and attended Auburn University. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2012 and went on to work as a graduate assistant for the Auburn University Elementary Education Department. I proudly earned my Master’s degree in Elementary Education and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors in 2013.
I began my teaching career in Brentwood, TN, before moving back home to Florence. I have been teaching in Florence City Schools since 2016 and was selected as Teacher of the Year for the 2018-2019 school year. I've taught second grade, third grade, and also worked as a Reading coach.
My family is everything to me. My husband, Ray, and I are proud parents to two daughters, Merritt and Carlisle.
I am thankful to teach in Florence City Schools! I am so proud to teach at Forest Hills, where I attended elementary school. This district is truly a family and I am blessed by my coworkers and my students.
