I am Shea Thompson, Second Grade Teacher at Forest Hills Elementary School. I am a native of Haleyville, Al. I am married to my husband, Craig and we have 1 son, Tripp. I completed my Bachelor's Degree, Master’s Degree, and Education Specialist Degree from The University of North Alabama.  I began my teaching career in August 2005. I spent 17 years as a Kindergarten teacher. Teaching Second Grade has always been a dream of mine. I love the age, personalities, and the curriculum. Helping each child progress in all areas of their development is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. My mission is to build strong relationships with my students, set goals, and achieve those goals. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
