Rebecca S. Pickle

I was born and raised in Alabama.  I graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1989 and The University of North Alabama in 1993 with a Double Major in Public Relations, and Communication Arts, and a double Minor in Communication Arts and Marketing.  After many years in the business and banking field, I came back home to Florence and decided to get my Masters in Education in 2010. I graduated in 2014 and began working at the Florence Freshman Center that August, teaching World History.  I am very active with the Teacher Mentor Program at UNA, a Cooperative Teacher, and I work with the History Department at UNA with several projects including the world recognized Georgian Papers Programme.  I have one son, Logan, and a Golden Retriever, Cooper who is my shadow.  I love to teach History and I love Florence Falcons!
