I was born and raised in Killen, Alabama. I married my husband Chris in 2013. I have two wonderful daughters, Abby and Emma Grace.

I began teaching in Florence City Schools in August of 2005. I have taught all levels of English, health, and physical education, but I currently serve as an English and health virtual teacher. I teach many online classes for Florence City Schools, and I also serve as the virtual school academic leader at Florence High School.

I love to read, swim, fish, watch hockey, and go out with friends, but my true passion is travel. I love Florence City Schools, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
