Mrs. Amy Mitchell
I received my BS in biology with a minor in chemistry from The University of Alabama in Birmingham. I began teaching at Florence High School in August of 2006. Continuing my education at the University of North Alabama, I received a master’s degree in secondary education and then an Education Specialist degree as a Teacher Leader. Currently serving as the Academic Leader of the science department and the FHS Student Council sponsor, I teach Human Anatomy & Physiology and Environmental Science to 11th and 12th grade. Both my husband and I work for Florence City Schools. We have two children who have graduated from Florence High School. We are truly a Falcon family!
