I began teaching in 1996 and have taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades, K-5 special education, and am thankful now to be teaching with the collaborative team at Florence High School. I received my education from Harding University and the University of North Alabama, and in 2018 I became a National Board Certified Teacher.

Originally from Missouri, I've lived and taught in 5 states, and in 2012 my husband brought us to his Sweet Home Alabama where we plan to stay. My husband, Jon, is also a teacher and coach as is our daughter, Lakin. We love the city of Florence and our Falcon community.
