I would like to take the time to introduce myself as the school nurse here at Weeden Elementary. My name is Amanda Crowe. I have resided in North Alabama all my life. I have 2 children, Garrett who is a sophomore at Florence High School and Turner who is in 4th grade at Weeden Elementary. I began my nursing career in 2004 when I graduated from Northwest Shoals Community College. I have worked in cardiology, urgent care, rural care, and home health but school nursing and working with children is by far my favorite and true passion. I began my school nursing career in 2017. It is a goal of mine here at Weeden Elementary to keep all of the children healthy, safe, in school, and ready to learn. I truly believe that communication is key, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns.
