Born and raised in north Alabama, I love calling the Shoals area my home. I received my Bachelors and Masters Degree from the University of North Alabama. My entire teaching career has been spent in Florence City Schools and it began as a Coffee High School Yellow Jacket. After the high schools merged, I taught at Florence High School and have been teaching math and virtual math 7-12 at Florence Middle School since 2012. Currently, I am the Florence Middle School math coach.  I will spend the year supporting the math department teachers and students in the classroom. My husband and I have one son who is a 2017 graduate of Florence High School. We are very proud to be a longtime Florence Falcon family.
