I grew up in Florence, attended Forest Hills and Bradshaw, and graduated from the University of North Alabama. I also completed some graduate courses there.
I began teaching in Florence City Schools in 2002. Since that time, I have taught 7th grade advanced and regular math, and currently teach 8th grade math. I sponsor the National Juior Honor Society and First Priority. It has been my privilege to share life with so many students through the years, and to work with such a dedicated, hard-working, and fun loving group of educators.
I have three awesome children, and three amazing grandchildren. All of my children grew up in Florence and attended Florence City Schools. Those were some of the best years of our lives and we made many great memories! My husband's name is Bill, and he is self employed. My goal in life is to love and serve God, my family, and those I teach and live with in our community.
