I am originally from Pulaski, Tennessee. I moved to Florence to attend the University of North Alabama, where I earned Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, as well as Master's and Educational Specialist degrees in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career at Riverhill School, where I taught for three years. I then taught at Hibbett Intermediate School for six years before coming to Forest Hills in 2021.
I have been married to my husband Andrew since 2014. He is also a teacher. We have a daughter named Ally and two dogs, Barkley and Reagan. Outside of the classroom, I truly love spending time with my family, traveling to new places, being outside, and reading.
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was six years old, and I am very fortunate to have found a teaching "home" in Florence City Schools.
