Jacquelyn Flowers, Ed.S.
Ms. Flowers started her educational career in 1997 when she began teaching high school mathematics. She taught high school for twelve years. She then served as an instructional coach/partner, district instructional/math specialist, and high school assistant principal of instruction. Ms. Flowers is now the Director of Instruction and Professional Learning for Florence City Schools.
Ms. Flowers has written book reviews for The Mathematical Association of America. She served on the advisory board for Mathematics Illuminated which won the Global Web Visionary Award for 2008 in the Educational/Resource category. She consulted on units five and nine, Other Dimensions and Game Theory. She was a Cohort One member of the Instructional Partners Network (IPN) and currently facilitates Key Leaders Network Northwest (KLN NW) for the Alabama Best Practices Center (ABPC). She serves on the board for the Alabama Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (AASCD). Ms. Flowers is one of the co-founders of EdCampFlorence and EdCampMadisonAL. She is also a team member and co-moderator for #ALEdChat on twitter.
