Degrees and Certifications:
Lynne Hice began her career in education as a high school science teacher and served in this capacity for 14 years. She was a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of biology. She joined the Florence City School System as an administrator in 2007. While at Florence, she has served as assistant principal to both Florence Freshman Center and Florence High School, interim assistant principal at Florence Middle School, principal at Florence High School, and currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Masters of Arts in Education, an ‘A’ Certification in Educational Administration and an Educational Specialist in School Administration from the University of North Alabama. She also has a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Samford University. Lynne is the wife of Willard Hice. Her children include Matt and his wife Stephanie, her daughter Ashley and her husband Brandon, and two grandchildren, Brayden and Aubrey.
