Hello!
My name is Carly Flowers. I was born and raised in the Florence area. I went to Rogers High School where I found that I had a passion for working with younger students. After high school, I went to UNA where I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and my P-3 certification. Later, I attended the University of Alabama in 2022 where I earned my master's degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in STEM courses. I taught Pre-K for 7 years. Four of those years were spent at W.C. Handy. I have also taught Kindergarten at Forest Hills for 1 year. I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach my favorite subject this year in 5th grade science! I hope to instill a love for learning, science, discovery, and creativity within my students!
