Student Selection Process

    • Students will be carefully identified for this opportunity based on a variety of factors.
      • Examples: school attendance, discipline, academic status, and character references of current and previous teachers, counselors, and administrators.
    • Additionally, student needs, completion of a career inventory sheet/application and student written essay is utilized as well.
    • Student candidates are interviewed initially at the school level by Launch Staff. Students selected from this pool will then be transitioned to interview with the business. Businesses/employment agencies make the final determination.
    • Ongoing monitoring is implemented incorporating multiple methods to track the student`s development in all settings throughout the year.
