The Florence Academy of Fine Arts has maintained an extensive tradition of excellence in their music department and constantly strives to propel students to the top echelon of instrumental performance.

Our band programs have consistently earned Superior ratings at marching contests and concert band festivals for many years and we are proud to have outstanding representation at All-State, District III Honor Band, Shoals Area Honor Band, and various university honor bands as well as a large number of students that continue their musical education at the collegiate level.

The goal of the band directors is to give each student the best possible instruction on his or her instrument, and to provide the best possible band experience for each student in our band program.
