Hi!  I am Kelli Bassham!  I am excited to be back for another year at Florence Middle School!

I am a product of Florence City Schools and I am proud to serve in the system that made me who I am today!  I graduated from Bradshaw High School in 2002.  I also attended Forest Hills and Hibbett.

This will be my sixteenth year teaching Mathematics but only my second year at Florence Middle School.  I taught five years at Bridgeforth Middle School in Pulaski, Tennessee and nine years at Lexington High School in Lexington, Alabama.  This will also be my third year teaching adjunct classes at Northwest-Shoals Community College. 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a certificate in Secondary Education and a Master's degree in Secondary Education-Mathematics both from the University of North Alabama.  I am currently working on earning my STEM certification through The National Institute for STEM Education.

I have boy/girl twins (Zach and Kalli) that are in the 8th grade at Lexington High School.  We have a German Shephard named Bailey and a cat named Izzy.  We love all things Halloween and Christmas at our house!  

I am looking forward to a great year and I am here if/when you need me!
