My name is Pam Eckl. This is my thirteenth year to teach and my 6th year with Florence City Schools. I taught Family and Consumer Sciences at Athens High School before earning my masters degree in Special Education/Visual Impairments.
I have a degree in Sociology from the University of North Alabama, 1976. I returned to UNA to earn a degree in Human Environmental Science, 2002. I earned my Masters of Arts in Education from the University of Alabama, Birminghamin, 2013.
In addition to my teaching career I have held positions in the 11th Judicial Circuit working in family court, director of a low-income day care, Prevention Program Coordinator for a rape crisis center, a systems analyst for a large computer out source company, as well as a career in retail.
I am married and have two beautiful daughters Anna and Kayla. I have a wonderful son-in-law, Wes, and a grandson, Walker, who keeps me on my toes!
