My name is Erica Tucker, and I am the EL teacher at Forest Hills, Harlan, and Hibbett Elementary Schools. I earned my Bachelor's degree in English Literature at Mississippi State University, and I earned my Master's of Education at Vanderbilt University in ELL Education and Secondary English Education. I taught in Memphis City Schools as an EL teacher and English teacher for five years before relocating to Florence, Alabama. Also, I have had experience teaching international students at the University of North Alabama.

I am thankful to teach in Florence, where my three sons attend school. Furthermore, I enjoy teaching English learners and partnering with their families. I am grateful that we have students from across the globe. Go Falcons!
