FMS TSA Chapter earns State Runner-Up Outstanding School Award

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Florence Middle School Technology Student Association (TSA) members were rewarded “big time” for their hard work with a bucket full of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place state medals at this year’s Alabama State Leadership Conference in Montgomery. A large majority of the FMS competitors have now qualified to compete in Washington, DC, at this summer’s 2026 TSA National Conference.

Overall, the FMS TSA Chapter earned the State Runner-Up Outstanding School Award at this year’s state conference, thanks in large part to nine 1st Place finishes, seven 2nd Place finishes, and five 3rd Place finishes. Above all, I am most proud of how the FMS TSA chapter members represented Florence with their positive attitudes, hard work ethic, and sportsmanship!
