'Kickin' for Chicken' Challenge brings home game excitement to students

FLORENCE, Ala. — Florence High School debuted a new event called "Kickin' for Chicken" at varsity home football games. The promotion is in partnership with Chick-fil-A: Florence.

At each home game, the challenge will be held at the end of the first quarter. The announcer will introduce the promotion and the selected participant. To participate, students must enter their name in the designated drawing box. Purchases are not required to win.

One student is randomly selected each week from the collected entries. The school will notify the selected student before the game, and they must attend to win.

Students and their immediate family members currently employed at Chick-fil-A: Florence are ineligible to participate.

The selected student will kick a field goal from the 10-yard line, and the ball placement and kicking tee will be consistent for every game.
