Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Lacey Gonzalez

I married my high school sweet heart, Ivan, and we have a two year old, Jude, with another son expected to join us late January. I worked at Joann Fabrics while in college at UNA and I have taught at Wilson high school, Clay Chalkville high school and am the current fashion instructor here at FHS. I love seeing my students get excited about using the skills they learn in class to design and create their own garments and projects!

Career and Technical Student Organization

    • Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences Education. It is the only career and technical in-school student organization with family as its central focus. Participation in national programs and chapter activities helps members become strong leaders in their families, careers and communities.

FCCLA is The Ultimate Leadership Experience. This organization gives students the tools they need to succeed whether they will go to college or enter the workforce upon graduation. In addition to learning valuable leadership skills, students have the opportunity to compete in state and national events, participate in community service activities, and travel around the United States to attend leadership conferences.
