Tryout Information!

  • I am excited to announce Florence Cheerleading tryouts for grades 7 through 12.  Due to the Covid-19 virus and necessary precautionary procedures, all tryouts will be held virtually this year through UCA.  Please fill out the Google Form below by June 17th.  You will then receive an email with the required tryout material along with a sample score sheet by Wednesday evening, June 17th.  All tryout videos must emailed by 8pm on June 22nd.  Announcements will be posted by 6pm on Wednesday, June 24th on the high school doors closest to the Dome.  If selected, fitting for Varsity wear will be held on Friday, June 26th.  Further information will be emailed upon selection of the teams.  Go Falcons!

Bringing the Falcon Cheer!

  • The Florence cheer program strives each year to build school spirit within the schools and community of Florence. By holding events such as Paint the Town Blue and community pep rallies, the cheer program has a mission to involve everyone in the area to increase support for the school. The program is also dedicated to community service. They have raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude through various fundraisers and were formally recognized for their efforts by the Universal Cheer Association (UCA).

    The program is also actively involved in competitions at the regional, state and national level. They have won numerous state titles in their division and have also placed at the national level. At UCA Summer Camp they have won numerous superior awards, leadership awards, tradition awards, and pin it forward awards. Each year, senior cheerleaders are named All-American cheerleaders and offered the opportunity to work for UCA as an instructor. Several Florence cheerleaders have also advanced their cheerleading careers at schools such as UNA and UAB.
