I am the Instructional Partner at Harlan Elementary School. My job is to provide instructional supports to teachers in any way I can, whether that involves setting instructional goals, researching and implementing teaching strategies, utilizing new technology tools, or developing other materials for classroom lessons and activities. 

The 2024-25 school year is my 21st year as an educator. I began my teaching career as a middle school language arts teacher and taught in Tuscaloosa County and Madison County before coming to Florence City Schools. In Florence City Schools, I have taught English at Florence Middle School and served in the instructional partner role at FMS, Hibbett, and now Harlan. 

My husband and I have four children who all attend Florence City Schools and two dogs. We all enjoy watching and attending sporting events, playing outside, watching movies, and spending time together.
