students performing

FLORENCE, Ala. — On December 9, Florence High School opened its doors to the Florence Middle School 8th graders for a special sneak peek into the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. The event offered a taste of the different arts programs available to students as they transition into high school.

8th-grade students gathered in the auditorium, where they got the opportunity to meet the FAFA Director, Jerry Foster, and they were also able to watch a short but outstanding piece from FAFA's highly anticipated Christmas Extravaganza. The performance, filled with music, dance, and drama, provided an exciting introduction to the academy.

The public had the opportunity to see the full show on Tuesday, December 10.

Pictures from the event can be found here.
