TAMPA, Fla. — In February, Falcon 5 Broadcast Team students ventured to the Student Television Network National Convention in Tampa, Florida.

At the convention, students experienced firsthand what goes on inside a television studio and honed their skills for Florence High's Falcon 5 newscast that airs weekly on YouTube.

"We all had a great time on the trip," Senior Kaden Sledge said. "We got the opportunity to speak with a number of different professionals in the filmmaking industry while also attending classes that included things we as individuals were interested in."

While there, the students also experienced some Disney magic at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
