FLORENCE, Ala. — Florence High School has been ranked the 12th-best high school in Alabama, representing The Shoals and the state's northwest corner, according to a new Money Inc. report.
The report describes Florence High as a respected institution providing quality education with its comprehensive academic curriculum and numerous advanced placement courses. It also describes the school's focus on college and career readiness with Career, Technical, and Specialized Education programs.
Florence Falcons Athletics is recognized with different sports competing effectively at the state level and building solid reputations throughout Alabama.
